hello members
this isn't the best but i was pleasantly surprised how it came out for just fifty minutes total
i moved my mount to accomodate family for christmas and now i cannot get it polar aligned after trying unsuccessfully over a couple nights haha!
with all of that i had a problem with my electric focusser (which i published in another thread)
anyhow desperation to photograph SOMETHING led to this
unguided 60da (warm night)
50 / 1 minute exposures iso 800
no darks or flats
apm 107 with ts 2.5" flattener f6.5

Well you should be happy.
Notwithstanding the difficulties you produced a most pleasing result.
I had a similar experience ove xmas.
Having got to my dark site it was cloud and storms.
My electric focuser just didnot deliver for me and my battery went flat so no auto guide or camera control.
So a ruff polar align and 30 second exposures ... but at least I did the best I could under the conditions just as you have done with your image.
And I bet more processing may produce an even better result...
Always look on the bright side.
