A few moon shots with iPhone 8

Here are a few moon shots using my iPhone 8 and 10” dob with Delos eye pieces

Taken just after observing Jupiter and Mars at 4.00am 6/1/18

Not that great but a bit of fun to show family and friends to get “ wow that’s unbelievable “

It is unbelievable.
Amazing to get such good results with you phone.
Feeling any desire to attach a dslr and maybe a equatorial mount and gett into the inexpensive hobby we call astro photography?

I have an HEQ5 and 150mm F6 reflector on order and expected to be delivered in 2 or 3 weeks. Have to get use to using the mount first with visual astronomy before jumping into Astrophotography. Taking things step by step slowly

That is great.
I used a 150 mm reflector and did I have fun. I am thinking of rebuilding it as it is a very managble size.
And dont be in a rush to move on from the Moon.
I finally got the 80mm triplet today and very nearly bought a eq5 which I may do later... I feel guilty spending such money when there are starving people in the world.
