Hello folks,
With AS!2 go to the capture directory (sharpcap), tick save in folders, load the video
analyse , set alignment points stack and the AS_whatever file is put in the capture directory.
The same procedure with AS!3, only one of the number of frames to stack is set, all the others are zero. The stacking completes, but I can not find the output file.
Can someone tell me what I have done wrong and where the output should be?

Try PIPP
For video files it works fine.

The stacked image result goes to the selected folder (f12)

Thanks peter I downloaded and tried PIPP, but I can not afford the disc space,so I will see if I can use Ken's pointers.

Thank you Ken, it was the requirement to name the output file at completion that had eluded me.
