QHY9M CCCD Camera + filters and wheel

Hi All,

My QHY9M CCD camera with motorized 5-filter wheel + 2” LRGB filters is seating in its case for months. Before I leave to France for a month on the 20/12, maybe someone could be interested in a self reward for Christmas :-)

- 8.6 Megapixel CCD sensor
- Kodak KAF8300
- 5 Position 2" QHY Filter Wheel
- Two Stage Regulated Cooling
- Built-in Shutter
- Large format monochrome CCD imaging that's affordable.

It includes a protection/transportation case and all cables :
- 240V AC and 12V DC power supply for camera,
- 12V DC power supply for wheel,
- USB cable to connect to computer,
- cable connecting camera and wheel,

Used in great conditions. AUD 1,750.
Pick up is preferred but I could deliver 50-100km around Glebe, NSW, 2037.
Alternatively, postage + insurance at buyer's cost.

I have a few Questions to ask you.

How old is this QHY9M?
What is the Brand of the LRGB 2" filters?
Is there any marks/scratches on the images taken with this sensor.

Could you please upload some images you captured using this ccd.

Hi Girit,

Sorry I don't go on Iceinspace everyday so I missed your message.

The camera is 4 years old.
The filters and the wheel are the ones provided by QHY with the camera.

There is no mark on the sensor. I can take a picture of the sensor next week if you want.

These were made of Light and Dark frames only. I have never tried to use Bias and Flat frames.

Hi All,

After a couple of enquiries, the camera is still for sale.

I just wanted to confirm that my pictures do not reflect the quality of the camera, but my average skills, especially processing :-)

If you want to enjoy a nice CCD camera with a KAF8300, help your selves !
