Continuing the downsizing sale with this rare Vixen 100mm F/10 reflector on a Super Polaris mount. Bought new in the 1980's it was unused when I found it this year. Tube rings and counterweight bar were missing and have been replaced with Skywatcher parts painted to match the mount.
Comes with the iconic Vixen fluorescent green triangular plastic sandwich box with all original unused accessories. Eyepieces are 0.925, Ortho 9mm & 5mm and Kellner 20mm in their original clear acrylic cases. A Vixen adaptor (not supplied) can be fitted that allows scope to use 1.25mm eyepieces.
Optics are pristine and perform very well.
Would suit someone new to astronomy looking for a light compact scope that will hold its value.
I shall probably keep this one if it doesn't sell fairly quickly.
