These guys sit right over the top of Brisbane in the SE from me, so I had a lot of light pollution to eliminate.

5 Hours at the quartet, 20x900sec subs, with flats and darks applied.

That looks pretty good Bill. Nice detailing in the galaxies.

Nice colour and detail.

Being able to squeeze in the big one at top right, which is very nicely photographed, adds a lot to the trio at bottom left.

Even in this 200K version, the field is studded with distant galaxies.

Well done!

That's very good, Bill. Much better than I would have expected through the lights of Brisvegas.

Glad you could fit in all four galaxies, for me the face on spiral NGC 7552 is a clear winner in the beauty stakes and probably deserves more focus by galaxy shooters than the close trio do (they are a little on the boring side IMO)

Nice work

Looks great Bill

I'm currently collecting data for the same area of the sky, right from the middle of Brisbane, so your very nice image will be a benchmark for me

Thanks everyone for your appreciation.

NGC7552 would be great with a long focal length scope, should bring out a lot of detail.
Good luck Suavi with the light pollution.

That's a really nice image. I'd be very happy to get something that good.
