Hello to all
I conduct specialist astronomy camps at a high altitude (2500m) locality in the Himalayas India. From this exceptional vantage at N31degrees, it is possible to capture both highlights of the Northern hemisphere and that of equatorial regions.
Onsite we have a range of telescopes and photographic equipment available for usage. This includes 3 celestron c8s planetary and deep-sky ccd cameras, Canon 60D, Skywatcher 100mm refractor, Coronado solar scope, and a range of high-quality eyepieces and binoculars.
Accommodation can be provided in a range of options with cottages, 4 star luxury hotel, or Chalet style tents depending on budget. Also available are a range of outdoor activities and local attractions including the historic town of Shimla just 1 hours drive from the site.
Typically i run sessions at this site for between 4- 7 nights. Cost includes all transport, accommodation, and meals for the entirety of the visit.
Essentially this missive is to find out if there are any persons or groups interested to participate in such a venture. Please do leave a message here and i can forward more information if required.

If you can, go for it !

Having been to Shangri-la in Yun-nan, China - the town is at 3160m altitude and at 27 degrees south - I can say the night sky at altitude is stunning.
