Took a bit of quick data of this a few weeks ago before it disappeared behind the house . What I love about this is it was discovered only a few km down the road from me :D

Centaurus A or NGC 5128 is a galaxy in the constellation of Centaurus. It was discovered in 1826 by Scottish astronomer James Dunlop from his home in Parramatta, in New South Wales, Australia

Nice work Mark

My 50th B'day party was back in May and the fancy dress theme was something astronomical or space related (fancy that :P) we got some great ideas...

Well, I went as James Dunlop :D...I'm the one on the left :D

Mike you wouldn't look out of place at a Bavarian Beer festival (thinking of Chevy Chase in that National Lampoon Movie).

Lovely image by the way Mark.

If you hadn't mentioned it I would have just assumed you were the one on the right ;)

Nice shot of Cent A btw, it looks like it's nicely resolved :) Not a lot of data to play with but 10" of aperture helps :)
