Ahh HDR = noice so how many went into making that shot smooth? i found it too difficult to get the spread with the wind as it was moving my mount/camera too much to get that this time around. I like what you got though. the toys one has does get nice results ;) in the hand of experienced spert :)

Thanks folks...even my beautiful bride wasn't too phased when I mentioned I'd be getting up at 3.00 am for the eclipse. A little bird also tells me it might be a NASA APOD real soon now... :cool:

As for the HDR, not too complex, just 4 frames ranging from 1/2 a second to 1//200th.

Thanks guys...have to say I was chuffed to get another APOD...which I had hoped my ISS transit might have been a contender for...but I suspect APOD's are also about the timing and relevance.

Really looking forward to capturing the solar eclipse now in the USA. :)
