This is an awesome cluster!
Nice pic Kev, I love it when I see star cluster pics as there doesn't seem to be that many taken, keep on snapping :D.

Thanks Suzy. That's true, clusters are largely ignored aren't they, except for the big 2 Omega C and T47. Some are quite nice too.

Lovely shot Kevin, M11 is always a visual favourite of mine. It almost looks like a loose globular in your photo.

60s really isn't a lot of time but it has turned out well :)

Won't be long before I am going to go on a bit of an open cluster frenzy, want to snap as many as I can in a single night. All of the Milky Way ones anyway :P

That's heap's enough exposure. So much I'm getting a tan from it !

Really nice. 10" F4 looks like a good option. Same fov as my 8" but faster

Thanks Patrick. It kind of looks like a cross between a glob and open doesn't it.

Cool. What sort of exposure were you thinking for each one Colin?

Thanks Chris. The extra speed comes with some problems though. F4 is a it of a pain I'm finding.

I'm thinking maybe half an hour per cluster.

That would do a decent job of it.
