Receiving odd e-mails form the forum

[AEAJR]

I ahve received several like this. I presume they are spam that the moderators are deleting the posts because they are not there when I go to the discussion. I think this is the third or 4th I have received over the last week.

Just thought you should know.

Sounds like you have email notifications enabled in your profile to get updates on your threads. Spam posts will trigger this. Natural behaviour of the forum.

Yes, this is what it is, as Marc said.
Nothing to worry about, don't click the links, just delete message.
Spammers have been posting in a lot of threads and they get deleted ASAP.
Sometimes they post in threads that I've subscribed to and that's the first notification I get that they're on line, then I get all the reported posts from members.
