This is what I got for my RC10: https://www.bintel.com.au/product/farpoint-flexible-dew-shields/

It works well.

Bintel is your best bet as what Chris said :).

It would be a lot cheaper to make one but some of us just like to purchase an already made product. Yes it's more expensive but way more convenient (and sometimes works better).

I can be a bit of both but with Astronomy I tend to purchase pre-made stuff. You can also make your own dew straps if you know your way around some electronics.

Hi Brett,

don't buy a dew shield. I am assuming you are having trouble with dew on the secondary. If so, drill a hole in the secondary holding plate (take the secondary assembly apart before hand) and install a Kendrick dew heater into that space and then run a power line along the truss. Put a shroud over the truss and you are in business. I never have dew on the secondary now and I have my scopes in a very dewy site. See photo.

No, getting dew on the primary Paul on my steel tube RC. Will see if the shield helps.

Are you running your fans all the time? If not, then you need to do that. I never got dew on my primary and that is with a truss.
