Issue With AutoStar 497 and Starnavigator scope

hi all I have a Meade Star Navigator 102 and it is equipped with the AutoStar 497 it was work great this morning and I just turned it on and it goes threw the boot sequence then comes up with Press Press !! if I press any of the buttons it just says Bad Key ! not sure what is going on any Auto star experts out there ?

Hi Pete,

Have a look at Weasners Mighty ETX Site,

The ETX uses the 497 Autostar. It's possible to boot it into a safe mode, and you can test it using hyper terminal from a pc
