Secondary mirror alignment

Hi Guys my daughter bought a second hand newtonion 150 and for the life of me i carnt align secondary mirror to see the 3 clips of primary mirror .
Been trying for 3 days and don't want her to lose interest , any help or tricks ill
appreciate

More important than seeing the three clips, is actually aligning the mirrors.
The secondary may be too high in the tube.
