Thought some of you might like to see this.
The first 2 photos are of the oldest Wisteria in Australia. How old? I don't know; yet, but the 3rd picture is of the 2nd oldest and that's 135 years old.
This is in the old Governors Mansion at Albert Park, Launceston, Tasmania.
The building now houses City Park Community Radio, and their amazing Museum of Radios.

Not a very large tree for its age, must have shrunk, Lol - but I love them complex bendy dark branches, very dramatic in the 2nd capture :thumbsup:

I thought it would be tall too, but I think they have pruned and trained it over the years. You can tell from the 3rd photo that they hve because I'd expect that one to be much larger after 130+ years
the trunk is huge; I've never seen a Wisteria with a trunk this big.
