Seeing....nothing

This has got to be officially the worst run of seeing I have ever experienced....:mad2:...even when the sky is clear (not often either this spring) the stars are twinkling like mad...hopefully the All Blacks will beat Australia yet again tomorrow night and give me some joy....;)

From what I can tell I've had one night of good seeing in the last 6 months... and not too many more than that that have been clear!

Yep, very memorable period, but hopefully the law of averages means we are in for a bumper year next yr!

Hehe somebody has a new toy :D:D its going to be hopeless for a week, at least.

I got as far as confirming it has a very nice airy disk and rings, before the clouds rolled in.

It's an ED quad APO with FPL53 glass...
