I've been looking for a laptop which can allow me to download spectroheliogram images.....
The camera (ZWO ASI174MM) can provide fast frames >400fps (1600 x 32 pixel) to the USB3 and the fast SSD drive was recommended.
I've found this one:
http://www.tecs.com.au/shop/msi-cx62-6qd-099au-15-6-core-i7-notebook.html
They can add memory 16Gb and add a 500Gb SSD drive (in the M.2 SATA SSD Slot)......
I'm not familiar with this supplier - any feedback/ comment??

Tecs or MSI ?
Tecs appears to have a retail store in LaTrobe St city - why not go visit them ?
At least you can make a judgement

Heres a pic - you can tell I had nothing else to do just now !

MSI is of course a huge international IT equipment supplier.

OK,
Went for the upgraded MSI - 16Gb memory and added 500Gb SSD drive.
Initial trials with the ASI 174MM with ROI 1920 x 48 pixel under Fire Capture gave >600 fps.
Looking good.
