A beautiful Winter morning in Devonport. Tas, today, and so a walk along the foreshore with my new Canon G11 at low tide. Something I've been wanting to try the G11 out on. I consider it a success. :)
The Sea-star is dead and bleached to this amazing colour.
The abalone was attached to the rock almost at the max. high tide point, and I'm hoping it survived ok. I've never seen one stranded and out of the water like this before. Also hoping no one decided it would make a yummy snack.
