dew tube C8

I have a Farstar dew tube for my C8 but it still dews up after a while. How much longer do i have to extend it. Thinking of a rolled piece of foam sheeting. Can't rembember this happening with the newts i had.

I use a basic foam camping mat on an RC8 (about 60cm long). I secure it with a strap around its circumference at the scope end, and some clothes pegs at the other.

It keeps both mirrors pretty much dew free all night in Brisbane, and also works when camping too !
