How deep does it go? I still use my old Ellyard & Tirion, "Southern Sky Guide", but I wish it showed (and described) more DSOs. Not a huge amount more, but +1 mag or so. I had charts that go a lot deeper but found them too tedious to use when out in the field.

According to the Book Depository, the 3rd edition was launched to coincide with the transit of Venus in June 2012. The revised 3rd edition came out on 1 June 2103.
Currently unavailable though... :(
