I wanted to make this for quite a while.

Design is based on this:
http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:556896
http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:554724

I added the frame to fit the cone from above to 60D LCD screen.
The individual parts were glued by acetone.
The lens itself came from Coilcraft kit, ~10cm FL, 25.4mm dia (it could be anything of course, and parametric design should be adjusted accordingly).

From now on, I don't need additional glasses any more to clearly see what's on the LCD screen - which is very useful when focusing.

If someone is interested, I can post the files here.

Nice work – is it just a “push and hold” fit, or do you plan to clip it on somehow?

Cheers

PS – http link in your 2nd post returned a 404 error.

It's push and hold.. you can always add rubber band if needed, but my specimen fits like a glove.
It was my first post on Thingiverse and I didn't realise there was 24-hour delay between post and visibility for others.. apologies for inconvenience.

The above link (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1376415) works now.

BTW, I posted the zip archive here, and all was OK for a while.. and then the files dissapeared.. not sure why.
