Viewing killed in Tas for a few days at least. Stacks of bushfire smoke from all around the state in the air. Bugger.

Heard on the radio that there are more than 80 bushfires at the moment in Tassie.

Yep. That sounds about right. I'm in a volunteer brigade and we have a crew heading to Lake McKenzie today and I'm off there tomorrow. Plus all the other crews around the state at various fires. Some are inaccessible and will burn for weeks, probably months. To say things look grim is an understatement and obvious.
