View Full Version here: : Yay new toy arrives
My DSI II Pro arrived! Decided on this camera after I decided I was more interested in small faint fuzzies than big nebs etc.... now another learning curve to climb, have only partly climbed the last one!
Have to wait a few weeks for filters though :(

Great to hear Lee. Look forward to seeing your progress
Bugger the filters. Go capture some luminance frames and combine them later. :)
Thats the plan Jase! Actually it could be a good way to start, less complications and hassles......
I'll apologise for the monsoon that will inevitably envelop Newcastle tonight!

Good thing.....I just got mine a week ago, a great little camera.
I wonder why no one has bidded on the one on Ebay.......seems cheap enough, and seems to belong to a good seller ? wish I saw it a week ago!

Good stuff Lee.
Now you just damn will stay down there. Don't go planning any Qld holidays. It looks like it is finally going to clear tonight.
Hmmmm .....:confuse3:...... cloud must be headed south
Hey, I'm a Queenslander! I'm just living down here...... not heading your way for the couple of months don't worry! :D
Hi Lee, congratulations on the new camera. I have had mine since May and I have nothing but praise for it. They are a great little unit, the imaging side of is pretty straight forward but the image processing can be a bit tricky at times I reckon I'm about 60-70% there on that side of things.
cheers
