For those who own the Takahashi NJP mount or a EM-400 {up to 2010, I think} it's possible to update the polar scope reticle which expires at the end of 2015 . Just got mine {2008 vintage} back from Takahashi HQ and the new reticle goes out to 2050. It keeps the crosshair type pattern , as far as I can tell the NH version has the pattern found with the smaller EM mounts. The original reticle went from 1985 to 2015 with 5 year intervals , the new one goes from 2010 to 2050 with ten year intervals.
To get it done contact AEC in South Australia who will direct you to ship the mount head to them and they will forward it to Takahashi. If anybody is interested and requires some more info on price and time etc feel free to contact me via PM.
As a side note looks like they gave my mount an overhaul while in the factory, fixed paint chips, fixed the polar scope light switch I broke and maybe a relubing :) Came back in a new box and mount vacum sealed. I contacted Takahashi directly initially via email and the contact was extremely helpful with my mount and other enquires

That’s good news; I must dig out my EM 200 Temma 2 although I think that reticule may be good up to 2030 if my memory serves me well.

Good to hear of your positive experience with Takahashi too.:)

Cheers
