Three weeks ago I purchased a used ED110 for an attractive price. Not a 'real' APO, but the color errors are so minimal that I don't want to spend an extra $1000 to buy off the minimal purple fringing on very bright objects such as Venus.
It works very good and it is a compact and lightweight travel scope of only 4kg and yet an aperture of 110mm.
