The SAS is one of the longest running astronomy society websites in the southern hemisphere and has been overdue for a refresh for a while.
We’re pleased to announce the public launch of the new Southern Astronomical Society website at http://sas.org.au !
New features include :
- Member login and registration
- Member profiles
- Member galleries & photo uploads
- Members online instant chat
- Featured astrophotography
- Event Horizon downloads & archives
- SAS Library Book archives, with detailed book information
- Event Calendar of Earth & Space events
- Latest News & Articles (with Member Submissions)
- Moon Phase & Gold Coast Weather Info
