Hello Ice in Space members
I'm writing to let you know about an opportunity to be a part of the Astrofest astrophotography exhibition, to be presented at Astrofest, Western Australia's biggest astronomy festival, on 28 March 2015.
Entries for our latest exhibition will be closing soon, on 13th February 2015.
The exhibition is open to Western Australian photographers, and visitors to Western Australia. We are most interested in night-time landscape photos and astronomy / night sky related images, with an emphasis on Western Australian locations. A really special part of the exhibition is the astronomical landscape themed photos.
Up to seven astrophotos or timelapse video's can be entered per person, for competitive selection for the astrophotography exhibition, to be held at Curtin Stadium, Curtin University, Perth. Astrofest typically attracts some 4000 visitors for the one evening event. Entry submission are by digital file only, either emailed to us or shared via drop-box etc (full submission details are supplied on the entry form).
Eligible Ice in Space members (WA based or visitors to WA) are welcome to put forward entries. Entries close on Friday, 13th February 2015.
So if you have suitable images, and would like enter, that would be great !
