Ok, I'm getting all confused about how many bags of cement I will need to make a small slab 1.6m x 1.6m x 0.1m (0.256 cubic meters).

One place I looked says I will need like 20 bags but i've made conrete in the past and im sure I never used that much. I would most likely go the 1:2:3 ration of cement, sand, aggregate and maybe a layer of re-mesh to make it sturdy. I have a feeling that 3 bags would cover this.

Can anyone help out please?

Hi josh, according to Cement Australia, for high strength concrete you use 17 20kg bags per m3 in a mix of- 1 cement, 1.5 sand, and 3 gravel. So 4 or 5 bags will do your job.

Hi Josh,
By the time you drive around and get all the maternal and do it your self Some times I think it is cheaper and quicker to get a a load of cement delivered .
