Will be with friends.

Actually I may go to blackheath twice this wkend (sat and sun). Forecast so far seems good to me. But may go to different location.

I may do some nightsky shooting instead.. I will probably go to these lookouts few times in coming days if weather is ok.

If you are interested please let me know see if we can meet there.

Btw I love Pony club too but just I also want to take some nightsky / milkyway therefore go to blackheath this time

Anyway I will bring my scope.. my friends are interested in

Looks like we have the numbers so it should be on weather permitting.
Mostly cloudy all day but predicted to clear in the evening.
I should be there about 7:30.

The Christmas gods delivered bigtime:
A clear night of great seeing at the PC,
A great cast of old and new friends,
And the views of (and through) The Wild Thing! :eyepop:

Best night of seeing at the PC this year (IMHO).
A good turnout of Phil, Rod(star), Greg(B), Geoff (Filter), John (Fizics), Joe (and family) Andrew (RB). sorry if I missed anybody.

The Wild Thing is a thing of beauty. 28 inches f3.3. Silky smooth ballet between stunning views. Thanks for sharing Phil. :thanks:
Comet C2014Q2 Lovejoy provided the most WOWs! Big and green with a tail that filled the eyepiece. Looked like a Christmas ornament on a tree. :jawdrop:

Thankyou John for the sticky bun dessert.

Locked the gate at 1:22

Merry Christmas to all, :reindeer:
Hoping for more nights of the same in 2015 (...and world Peace) :xmas:

One thing I will remember the Wild Thing !!!

She is amazing..., all I would ever want from a telescope.
Very well made, smooth and precise, HUGE mirror Dobsonian that one can use standing next to! And then there is the observing... STARS EVERYWHERE, and in colour !

Stargazing will not be the same ever again - Thank you Phil

Great time last night.
So nice to see everyone again.

Phil thank you so much for the views through your wonderful scope.
Now we have two super-sized scopes at the PC, the magnificent "Mary Rose" and the magnificent "Wild Thing".

The views were jaw dropping and I'm so happy everything was sorted out with the scope.
Wonderful to see it glide and slew across the sky to it's targets.

Thank you everyone for a wonderful time once again at the PC.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.

Hi guys, a belated thank you for your company on Saturday night. Had a great time, and as others have said, very impressed with The Wild Thing. Merry Christmas friends, and looking forward to a shoot out between the Mary Rose and Wild Thing in 2015!
