I'm not sure whether I have a User setting wrong,
but I can never seem to show more than 3 pages of posts.

I can select page 1, 2 and 3 but when I select the arrow (see pic)
and set it to , say page 4, it only shows page 3.

And up to a maximum of 75 posts.

In my User settings I have 40 posts per page set (the max is 40)
and 'show all threads' set. So wouldn't that let me see at least 40 X 3=120 posts to start with.

What am I doing wrong?

FWIW I know how to find older posts another way, using advanced search.

In your example there is no page 4. On the left of the page selector it states Page 3 of 3.

I know Chris, thanks.
What I mean is.....some days Today's Posts will give me a choice of:

50 posts (2 of 2)
82 posts (3 of 3) etc

It isn't listing JUST the posts of that day either, as you can see
it lists posts well back into the previous day (see pic)

My point is, what seems to limit how far back in time you can view Today's
Posts? It seems to vary from day to day.....and why does the forum
software give you the option to go back further but doesn't work?

Deep Space for example, gives me many more pages back in time.
displays 1 to 30 per page of 14508 posts, and makes another dialog box
available to go further back in time. see 3rd pic.
I'm thinking it is either an intentional limiting per forum topic or just
a quirk of the forum software?

Ah, yes, I see what you mean. Apologies.
