Well, I finally had time to try outmy FSQ85ED today, setting up the finder etc.

Have you ever realised in life that perhaps just ONE scope covers all your needs? I had that epiphany today.

SHARP and CONTRASTY don't precisely fully expound the qualities of this telescope. I was left utterly in awe. Star testing tonight - that'll be the real test. I doubt there will be any issues :)

Now let's just wait and see if Tak No2, due to arrive in Monday's post, can exceed my FL102S. THEN I may whittle the collection down to just 2.

Is no. 2 a TSA or TOA? Can't go wrong with either.

You mentioned Vixen. Enjoy: http://vixenmarketing.seesaa.net/s/article/388399583.html They have designed a bigger brother in the VC line. VC 260l. One for the imagers :)

Up until now I wouldn't have said yes to that, but this SW BD ED100 I recently purchased is doing everything I want. Well...... almost everything. :D
