Hi Guys....

Some of you may remember that my Heq5 Pro fried last year and i had to send it back to get repaired.

I was running it off a 12v 8Amp power supply which also supplied:
QSI 683wsg-8
Robofocus
kendrick heater.

At the time i had power directly routed to all the components.
But since the burn out i felt lucky in that the QSI didnt fry...i counted my lucky stars.

I made several searches for suitable fuse boxes but couldnt find any so i made my own. I researched and found that 2amp fuses is mainstreem for most of the equipment i have.

I put together this fuse box which hopefully will protect the components.
If anyone would like me to tell them how to make it please dont hesitate to ask.

John

I'd suggest you write it up and post it in the Projects area under Accesories...

I'd suggest circuit breakers instead of fuzes. Being able to reset a switch in the dark is much less effort that swapping a fuze.

In the case of ATC fuses, a pair of needle nose pliers works wonders.

I use RIGrunner power distribution boxes with anderson powerpole connectors. Also a Mount Hub Pro which I'm not overly fond of.
