I want to use my Hutech FF on my triplet refractor APO 80mms with my DSLR (Meade 80mm series 5000, 60Da,)
HAs anyone any advice about the spacing for the FF other than just screw it in to the t ring on the camera and bung it in the scope?
Would this work ok? I have quite a lot of coam with the big DSLR and the refractor which I would like to minimise.
Cheers
Graham

I see an old thread on here talks about optimal 55mm spacing from the focal plane with a QHY 8, but what about a DSLR?

Hi graham

If its the same FF as this one you should be fine.

A Canon Eos DSLR has 44mm from the face plate to the sensor. The FF in the PDF is optimised for 55mm but...there is generally a Tring in the mix with a Canon which is about 11mm?

If you already have the FF, bung it on and see what happens. You should be pretty close
