Anyone with a Mac know how to write to a USB disk drive that is formatted for NTFS? I can read the drive but not write to it. Its not a hardware problem, everything is working fine. I think it has to do with permissions. I have fiddled with them on the Microsoft machine but can't change them on the Mac laptop.
Reason for doing it: - I want one drive that backs up all my computers so I can just have it in my "get out quick bag" in case of fires.
Oh yes, I found the mac will write to a FAT32 thumb drive so that would be a solution but I can't format a 1 terabyte drive into one large partition using that format system.
Anyone know of a utility for the Mac that will write to NTFS?
