Hi folks,

Don't know if this would be of interest to anyone, but ALDI has digital angle meters/spirit levels in store at the moment.

$19.95 and they reckon they're accurate to .1 degrees. Seems to work ok.

I'm thinking handy gizmo for levelling tripods, setting up wedges etc.

Cheers,

Earl

Accurate to 0.1 degrees or reads to 0.1 degree? They're pretty good if it's the former. That's the trouble with digital, you can get as many figures as you want, even if they're meaningless. I've seen a few instruments that will produce numbers to 10 decimal places but only the first one or two are valid.

Thanks for posting Earl. Which store did you see them at?

Michael.

Looks useful.

How many forget to accurately level their tripod and mount!

Levelling makes a difference even on cheaper go to mounts, such as the SE series

even if you have done a 3 star alignment.

Cheers bigjoe.

Got a couple from Melbourne, Point Cook.
