Autostar hand controller

My Autostar hand controller for my Meade LX90 8" scope appears to be dying rapidly. I had a look on Bintel this morning and could not find any trace of a new hand controller. In fact I cannot find a new controller anywhere that I have looked. Can anyone here help me with this problem.

Hi Stuart,

If the problem relates to keys not working very well and you have to press hard on them to work, then the issue might be that the buttons are losing their contact with the connection points. There is a product you can get that you can recoat the contacts with. Not sure what it's called, but it's like a graphite paste greyish in colour that brushes on and fixes the issue. I did it with my autostar. Try calling the scope shops to see if they have any. Sorry I can't remember what it's called.
