:) Hi , after work last night ( 1am) I set up my Sky90 for a quick look .
Using my 40mm 2 inch AT Titan I spotted what looked like a very bright comet nucleus about 7-8th mag .
I watched it for 2 hours hoping to see a movement , sketched the field using a 15mm and 2x Barlow at about 70x then turned in.
Today after I woke up I searched Stellarium and there is no Glob's , in that field , going way deeper than stellarium goes so I opened Microsofts ' World wide Telescope' and still there is nothing in the area I was looking at this morning ? .
I will view the same field tomorrow morning at about 1am to see if this object has moved .
Interesting that this object is not on both programs , as well as my hard copy of Sky Atlas 2000 ??.
I will let all know the out come tomorrow .
Ps . I was the co-(re) discoverer of W/S 3rd in about 1996 so I know how to raise the flag on discovering a comet , exciting stuff! :) .
