This is a buy it now auction priced at $300US + $35US postage.
Total = $452AU
That's a good price for this EP
If I hadn't bought Dave's 22mm Panoptic - I would seriously consider this EP.
Cheers
Doug:thumbsup:

ps: I"ve got no monetary interest in this auction - just think it's a good deal if it's kosher!!!!!:P

Not really that good. You could buy a new one for just a few dollars more. And it wouldn't take 4-6 weeks to get here.

Bintel sell that EP for $540 + $5-10 postage.
That's around $100 difference - a few dollars more!?!?!?
Granted the delivery time would be frustrating but not the price!

One thing I would worry about - there is minimal description of the condition or pics etc of the EP on the ebay page.
Cheers

I recently bought a 27mm panoptic from Astromart for only $200 US.

If youre quick/lucky you can sometimes get things very cheap.

Damn!!!!
$200...
Tell me O' Dark-one...did you have to pay the $12 US to register with Astromart?
With bargains like that I suppose it would be well worth it!
How long does it normally take for things to reach you from the US?
Cheers

ps: just bought a 2nd hand 22mm Pano - I'm trying to duplicate your EP collection bit by bit!!;)

Hi houghy,
Just scratched the surface at Astromart but I checked out an EP - clicked on the pic and was told I had to pay/subscribe to view classified ad details!

Yes it must have changed since I joined some years ago. I never had to pay anything.

Ive ordered tons of stuff from the US, things usually get here in about a week via regular airmail USPS. Sometimes quicker than if you bought something in oz!

Yes the $200 was a great price, however it came with a tradeoff. The seller originally took apart the EP to clean and all the lenses came out onto the floor. He didnt know how to put it together again, so he sent it off to Televue for a clean and assemble. There is a small tear in the rubber eyecup as well as a small mark on the side. But the optics look perfect which is all I really care about.

beg your pardon guys - costs you $12US to sign up if you have a hotmail email address - must be an anti scammer measure!?

Hi Mark,
I tried to sign up with my hotmail.com email address and got the $12 signup message due to my email address-Astromart didn't specify hotmail. But, I just signed up with my other email address (@tpg.com.au) with no problems at all.
I suppose anybody (ie scammers) can get a hotmail or a yahoo account with false details and Astromart are trying to guard against this type of fraud by charging fees on these email accounts.Perhaps they have had problems to justify this?
Cheers

A small measure to protect the community from disposable identities.
I support that
