Suprisingly, most of the younger cast members have died long before Frank. I think he was one of the last ones left.

Jeepers, talk about "tempus fugit"

Old jug-lugs, Mr Rumbold, is the only surviving cast member now.

RIP Captain Peacock :)

Correct.
"Of the original main cast of Are You Being Served?, Nicholas Smith - who played Mr Rumbold - is now the only surviving cast member."

Paul beat me "by that much" (Maxwell Smart)

RIP Frank

He must have had such a hard time keeping a straight face with that mad crew around him.

Great at Grace Brothers, great in earlier shows. I remember him from Spike Milligan's "The World of Beachcomber" selling Snibbo and Threadgold's Thorough-grip Garterettes!

Quite amazing he was 92 and they so young when they passed away,I think the actress that played Ms Brown died from cancer.

Such a great show, English comedy has always been the very best.

Sad to see this in the news tonight :(

I dearly remember walking into David Jones and Myers in Sydney and Melbourne as a kid, and thinking how much they looked like Are You Being Served - heck, the old David Jones in Brisbane looked like it till the 1990's!

I don't "get" American humour at ALL, apart from Robin Williams, so, yes, British humour is what I like.
