A work college who is not a member of IIS that lives about 60km in the outer east of Melbourne sent me these two pics and the following text.
"Standing outside the Weekend before @ 11:00PM, just tbout to head in - I hear a faint whistle on this bounces not 20M away and glows away on the lawn in the dark.
What are the chances - no one around for at least 1KM. I look around to see if someone is Youtubing.
There is no markings and the only way to turn it off is to dismantle it. From what I see in movies Alien's just dont have the hands to turn it on let alone attach it to thier UFO.
And Why would it be attached to a plane........ I think its a weather ballooon light - but I can't find the ballooon in any of the paddocks."
I remember reading a post while ago somewhere here that you could buy there parachutes with light beacons built in. Any sensible suggestions or possibities please?
