About to take delivery of a Takahashi FS60C and a few questions.

I intend using it as a guider occasionally - any need for drawtube extensions as a guidescope? (for example, my Orion Rich Field guidescope needed a 2.5" extension to come to focus)

My main use will be as an astrograph, riding on top of my Vixen FL102 (in a guidescope style set up, but clamshell/dovetail mounted, not guider rings, whilst my 102 will ALSO be imaging, just deeper, and with the mini finderscope guide system ;) ) - I will get the Tak DSLR camera adapter, but again, do I need extension tubes etc typically for DSLR use with it?

My FS60CB reaches focus with a Lodestar without any additional extensions.

Have a look at the FS-60C manual; there are system charts showing you which pieces/extensions are needed with various configurations:

Since it's a (relatively) short focal length scope, the field curvature is fairly severe - especially if you're thinking of mounting your 5DmkII on it. You'll probably want to use the dedicated reducer (http://www.optcorp.com/product.aspx?pid=2217) or flattener (http://www.optcorp.com/product.aspx?pid=15729) to get reasonable stars.
