Mac vs Windows vs *nix vs My-Neighbours-Kid-With-An-Abacus...
Let's face it, when it comes down to it, it's all about the desktop and how much you can mod it! ;)
Lately I've been playing with "Geektool", a Mac app that works like "root-tail" on the *nix systems. It lets you runs scripts, log files and place images onto your desktop so that you can have useful information on the desktop.
Personally I like a relatively clean desktop (no files, hard drive access is fine) but I do like my geeky system data, so behold, my current desktop in all it's glory :)
Cheers,
Simon
